Reviews and Ratings
The hotel is located in downtown Vancouver, making it quite convenient for walks to BC Place and for sports and theater activities. The rooms got very hot despite the air conditioning, with a cramped bathroom and lacking a fridge. We found it frustrating that only one bedroom was accessible, leading us to clean the bathroom. However, the friendly service with a cozy atmosphere made up for it.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The room, although spacious, was in need of some maintenance work. The location was convenient and central, with plenty of dining options nearby. However, the service was lacking, with unhelpful staff and issues with parking. The dining experience was mediocre at best, but the facilities were adequate overall.
The hotel's rooms were spacious and very comfortable, fitting our needs perfectly. They were clean and quiet; however, they felt a bit drab and could use updating. The service was not very helpful or friendly, especially when we called about the broken hot tub; however, the location, close to everywhere we needed to be, was great. The dining experience was really good with a variety of options available, but it was disappointing that it closed at 10 on a Sunday. The facilities met our expectations and were well-kept.
The hotel is conveniently located close to downtown Vancouver, offering easy access to popular areas like Yaletown, Gastown, and the stadiums. It's great for events at venues like the Queen Elizabeth Theatre, BC Place, and Rogers Arena. The best thing about the venue is its central location, providing excellent proximity to key attractions and venues.
The hotel is situated close to Robson Street shopping and Gastown, making it convenient for events and exploring dining options. The rooms had a mildew smell due to their proximity to the restaurant and bar directly below, and the noise from the generator may disturb light sleepers. The service was accommodating and friendly, especially when arranging amenities for families attending NHL games. Despite its central city location, the noise level was an issue.
I found the hotel to be in a convenient spot, ideal for attending a concert. The rooms, although on the small side, provided us with a niche of privacy away from foot traffic. The service from the staff, particularly during meal times, was remarkably quick and friendly. However, the location on the west side of the building, facing a noisy air conditioner, was a significant downside.
The hotel room was cancelled as per my request and upon arrival, I found it to be tiny with no fridge. There were scuffs and brown stains on the walls, and the internet did not work properly. The TV would kick out and go to a grey screen while watching. The rooms seemed old and in need of a refresh, not living up to the price of $300 a night. It's a small space more suitable for business stays rather than for guests needing more amenities or with medical equipment.
I had a pleasant stay at this hotel. The rooms were very clean and had nice bedding and towels. The queen-size bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was rather nice. The natural sunlight and view in the queen and double size suites added to the charm. The service exceeded my expectations, and the central location made it convenient to explore the city both by walking or using public transportation.
The hotel had rooms that were not up to standard, designed for pygmies at top prices. At check-in time, they were scary with gaps in them. The service was very helpful and friendly, even offering advice on safe parking. However, between being friendly when not busy to rude when overrun with customers. The location was great for access to public transport and dining but in desperate need of upgrading and thorough cleaning. The dining experience was good, with excellent service, especially for lunch at Moxie. The facilities were average.
My stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. The rooms were clean but a bit musty and noisy due to its location near the lift shaft. The service was efficient and helpful, setting a positive tone, although there were some cleanliness oversights in the room. The location was convenient but might not suit everyone's walking preferences. Dining was satisfactory with good options and reasonable prices. Overall, a decent stay with room for improvement.
The hotel rooms were quite small and seemed dirty due to the carpeting, yet the staff were helpful in giving directions. It's more suitable for business travelers than those with medical equipment. The service ranged from being very helpful and courteous to disinterested and unhelpful, with fluctuations based on busyness. The location was convenient, close to good attractions and eating places. The dining experience offered an amazing breakfast but closed early on Sundays. The facilities were not extensively commented on.
